Haying is underway now. Across the road, the farmer on his tractor waved back at me. A fine day for cutting.
The next time I drive by this field, the grass will be cut in the first haying. The texture of the grasses and the action in the sky are part of this photograph’s “moment.” Nothing will be the same again.
