Summer Morning at the Airport, Roxbury, Conn.

I was introduced to this spot by my fellow photographer Marc Isolda, who has photographed here in all types of weather. (For example, take a look at the image titled “No Flight Today” that he posted on his blog a while back.) Now I drive by countless times in a hurry to get somewhere else. This time though I stopped a moment to record the wonderful sky, since morning offers the best light to show the plane that sits inside the hut. A light breeze lifted the windsock just enough to make the picture complete.

My digital diaries and altered states photographs are my way of sharing my personal vision. These images reflect my daily life and surroundings. I would like to range farther in my photographic journeys. But in the meantime, as any photographer knows, the images are at my doorstep.
