Cemetery Fence, Washington, CT

The magnolia tree and the stately wrought iron fence caught my eye. When I cried out “that’s exactly what I want!” and since I was driving, my passengers agreed I needed to turn the car around and stop to photograph, assuring me there was indeed a parking place beside the cemetery. The photo — with only a glimpse of the flowering tree in the background — is not the one I expected to make. But isn’t that just the way it always is? We go out in search of one thing, and find another.

About Susan Reinberg

My digital diaries and altered states photographs are my way of sharing my personal vision. These images reflect my daily life and surroundings. I would like to range farther in my photographic journeys. But in the meantime, as any photographer knows, the images are at my doorstep.
