Snowfall, Woodbury, CT

The falling snow veils an already monotone view, but memory tells me the twisted branches that seem so desolate now will be lush with heavy flowers this summer. In the meantime, the somber mood has its own kind of beauty.

About Susan Reinberg

My digital diaries and altered states photographs are my way of sharing my personal vision. These images reflect my daily life and surroundings. I would like to range farther in my photographic journeys. But in the meantime, as any photographer knows, the images are at my doorstep.

I really like this one Susan, it pays to get out there and shoot even in the snow!!!! Very nicely done.

  2. This is superb! I really love this, something very poignant about it – especially in the snow. Lovely!

    • Thank you so much for your comment. I couldn’t ask for a better word than “poignant.” When a photograph can elicit an emotional response, that’s certainly a good thing. The reaching gesture of the tree branches and the crazy angles of the headstones (in the falling snow of course) gave me that sense of “moment.”
