C L Adams Co., Woodbury, CT 2013

At the top of the stairs to the second floor of the hardware store on Route 6 in Woodbury, CT, this Uncle Sam likeness cut an imposing figure. How appropriate to find him among the antique tools and washboards of yesteryear. At second glance, I wondered if this dark-haired version of Uncle Sam didn’t look a lot like Abraham Lincoln.
