Stars and Stripes, Lumberton, NC 2013

This scene on I-95 was too packed with iconic value to pass by. Stars and stripes on a water tower? Come on! AND it was Lumberton, NC, the hometown in David Lynch’s classic “Blue Velvet.” Life is too full of missed opportunities, photographically speaking, many of them on this very same road trip. This time I just had to stop.
